Leadership Team

Kevin Cureton joined the Company in November 2012 as Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Development. Effective September 3, 2025, Kevin was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer. He previously served as the company's Chief Operating Officer since December 2019 and as Chief Commercial Officer since January 2018. His chemical industry experience has spanned more than twenty years, the majority of which has been in the personal care industry, including twelve years at AMCOL International Corporation, where he served as the founder and Managing Director of its skin care and dermatology technology business. Prior to AMCOL, he made significant contributions at Air Products, Borden, and other entities. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Laura Riffner brings more than 35 years of financial and operational expertise to Solésence. From 2002 until 2024, Laura was initially Chief Financial Officer and was later promoted to Chief Finance and Strategy Officer at Nagase America, a global distributor and manufacturer of specialty chemicals. In this role, she streamlined budget planning and analysis, enhanced operations management, and successfully oversaw the company’s acquisition of Fitz Chem. Laura also previously served as the Chief Financial Officer at Paxton/Patterson, an education technology firm where she led the company’s development of new forecasting models, improving visibility and alignment across finance, sales and operations. Laura holds a B.A. from Benedictine University in international business and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

Dr. Harry Sarkas oversees technology platform innovation. An expert in photophysics and related chemistries, Harry has 25+ years of direct experience in material synthesis, production, characterization, and product development, and is author or co-author of over 45 patents, including our Active Stress Defense™ and Kleair™ technologies. Harry has authored 40+ technical publications.

Yoana Dvorzsak supervises all external client programs, focusing on development from concept to launch. With a strong formulation background, she has developed skin care and color cosmetics products for multiple brands on a global scale and is experienced in regulatory compliance.

Maria Garcia oversees all aspects of the employee experience, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and professional development. She is passionate about creating a supportive environment where every employee is empowered to thrive and achieve their full potential.

Harrison King oversees all manufacturing and supply chain operations including bulk production, filling, and purchasing. He brings over 25 years of experience in manufacturing, problem-solving, scheduling, preventative maintenance, project management, quality systems, and P&L management. He is well-versed in lean concepts and the theory of constraints. His previous experience includes management roles at Blistex and Avon, among others.

Yoolie Park brings more than 20 years of experience in the beauty and personal care industry, leading strategic partnerships with indie and multinational brands and delivering integrated, turnkey solutions from concept through commercialization. With deep expertise in packaging innovation and product development, she has collaborated across marketing, design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to bring high-performance beauty products to market globally

Benjamin Babel oversees the accounting and finance functions for Solésence. He brings 25+ years of controllership and consulting experience.

Maggie Ciafardini oversees new brand partnerships in prestige skin care and cosmetics. She started her career at the Estée Lauder companies and has served as CEO of YSL Beauté, General Manager of Beauté Prestige Int’l USA, Managing Director of St. Tropez North America and Executive Director of Bobbi Brown International.

Emma Harper leads the advancement of Solésence's mission through strategic and editorial work, including marketing, communications, brand education, and public relations. She brings 15+ years of experience in editorial and beauty.

Nadir, a Six Sigma Black Belt, leads Quality, Regulatory, and EH&S. Nadir brings deep and extensive regulatory knowledge and has been with the Company for 31+ years.
